Life is a balance of holding on and letting go.
What a delicate balance between attaching to things in life yet being able to be fluid and go with the flow. And yet these two concepts are opposing one another. Holding to be grounded and steady, but not holding on to relationships, ideas or things that no longer serve you. Letting go of thoughts or relationships to create space in your mind or your heart so their is room for new things to come. In yoga, we flow in and out of our poses playing with this concept of steadiness and balance, while moving with ease and surrender. As you go about your upcoming week, pick one thing to let go of and see what moves into that new space.
